Time to put down the crack pipe. What a dramatical game! Those who do not see that are blind. On the other hand, Penaldo begging for penalty Poor ronaldo, nice coming from behind James, great hard work from Navas.
Glad to be alive in Messi's Era, sorry cr7 you can't reach Messi's level, Messi is a warrior. I'm a die hard Messi fan mayday, however I would never make a mistake of putting Ronaldo in the class of warriors In fact, he's a warlord!
I'm a huge Ronaldo fan boy, but it's obvious He's well into his demise now. Still World Class and should play as a striker, but his business and other ventures will take him away from football now.
Messi hasn't got any real competition now, but He's inconsistent compared to his earlier years. Wouldn't suprise me if he started to fall off properly after Ronaldo falls off completely as there isn't competition.
Love or hate it, Ronaldo and Messi needed each other through the last decade to be who they are. Messi will always be amazing, but competition is what keeps people going, no matter if they say it or not.
From companies to people. If Barca didn't exist, Real may not be as good as they are, and the opposite too. Messi and Ronaldo have been competing for years and that's a fact.
With Ronaldo and Messi competing, it allows them to want more, to achieve more and keep going. So no worries we understood. Now there are some people that think that their version or point of view is the only one.
The problem for Madrid is that their main currency is prestige which, in the end, cannot compete with sovereign wealth. It can work long-term, but at Madrid nothing can stop the time because time is illmatic, so they may need to take some pain until Asensio, Ceballos and pals are ready.
Ok, I suppose we should have a go. Barcelona are quite good, Madrid are a mess, and will surely be seeking a new manager from right about now.
The thing is, when you have as many good players as Madrid do, you can produce decent passages as they did: On both occasions, they had absolutely nothing.
And for that they earned their kicking, despite having the good grace to perform for 20 minutes or so. Sergi Roberto again goes down the right, he clips over a cross, and again Suarez takes it from behind him Barca get bored of possession and find Dembele, who nips inside then outside, sending Nacho for a corn-based snack covered in cheese, then stands up a cross to the far post where Vidal nods home and celebrates like a meshuggener.
This is now one of the great humiliations, actually sort of a close game but sort of actually not and, well. They replace Arthur with Vidal.
But not before, in a moment to savour for everyone who loves the joy of humiliation that is what football is all about, Sergio Ramos chests down, dithers, and is robbed by the excellent Sergi Roberto.
Messi, at the other hand, has hit one just past the post. Ramos at fault there. Gareth Bale with an ugly tackle Semedo! He is shown the yellow card.
Marcelo and Real defence is arguing with referee. He shows Marcelo the yellow. He is clearly upset they did not get a penalty. Marcelo is brought down inside the box after a Alba tackle but no penalty!
Real players are complaining about this. Barcelona are lucky to get away with this. What a stunning goal from Gareth Bale! First touch and curl it in.
Barcelona Real Madrid. Asensio with a pass and Bale, out of nowhere, with a powerful touch to curl it in. Superb through ball from Suarez to Messi who is not offside.
He has just Navas to beat now. Runs into the box and towards the left. The final touch is too long and he cannot get it perfect. Brilliant save from Navas there.
Asensio was ready for the Benzema cross but has a very difficult volley. This looks Barcelona game now. Real Madrid are really missing Ronald here.
Real Madrid are clearly missing Ronaldo now. They have the ball more but no finishing on it. Barcelona defenders not erratic now and handling the attacks with ease.
Lionel Messi is double checked and brought down outisde the box! He earns himself a free-kick. But that is straight into the wall.
No change in the scoreline. Iniesta is substitued in his final El Clasico appearance! Paulinho replaces the Barca great Iniesta.
He hugs Lionel Messi before leaving amid a Mexican wave. Suarez has a goal but that is disallowed. He is offside against Rakitic.
Would have been and Barcelona would have been tearing apart Real Madrid. Asensio had a shot on the Barcelona goal but it was a save.
Suarez took the ball on the left for a counter-attack and moves past Baran. He gives it to Messi just outside the box.
Messi with his magical dribbling, past Casemiro and Ramos are there but he moves towards the left and past them. He has little space and a tight angle.
Still slots it home to give Barcelona the lead. Marcelo takes one through the defence after steal from Iniesta. He tries a shot from 20 yards but that is over the bar.
Naco and Pique go against each other in the tunnel before the teams came out on the field. This half is going to be a cracker.
